Let's go

Hi folks! Finally, I have found the time to re-launch my website. I grabbed a copy of Drupal 7, customized it a little bit, and added some of my old stuff for now. In the future, I'm planning to add new material regularly, as well as extend the site. For example, a phpBB forum is scheduled to open its virtual doors here in the next few days.

Most importantly, I'm going to write blog entries every now and then. While we're at it, here are some important information about this new site:

1) The site is bilingual (English / German) in the sense that generally, most material is available in both languages. A notable exception is the blog: I generally write blog posts only in one language and don't translate them to the respective other language. Therefore, if you understand German as well, it might be a good idea to occasionally have a look at the German blog, as you should be able to find some posts there that aren't present in the English blog.

2) As always, you can leave your comments to almost anything you find here on this site. You have to register first, though. Registering is entirely safe, as I won't use your contact information to send you spam, nor will I give your contact information to any third parties. The reason why registration is required is in order to make sure that not every idiot is able to post spam comments to the site.

3) If you don't like my nice red-blackish retro theme (called tisys Redro), registering brings an additional benefit: Once registered, you should be able to select an alternate theme (for example, the Drupal default "Bartik") in your account preferences.
